Symfonie joined IV Cbonds Poland & CEE Bond Сonference, October 15, Warsaw

Michael Sonenshine was a panelist at the CBonds conference in Warsaw and spoke about the opportunities in Poland to invest in Peer to Peer loans and how to get more liquidity into the NewConnect market. The NC is Poland’s over the counter bond trading market. Speaking on the topic of credit quality and credit analysis in Poland, Mr. Sonenshine stressed the importance of looking past balance sheets and income statements to instead focus on the underlying fundamentals of the business and the quality of the managers and owners. Many small and medium sized businesses are family owned or closely held. The balance sheet does not always reflect the continuing energy of the business and the resources the owners have to support the business.
